Jesse Stratton Band

Born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, Jesse Stratton is a deep-rooted Alternative Country / Americana artist who plays music chock-full of truth and raw emotion. Jesse is the lead vocalist and songwriter of his band, and also plays guitar, saxophone and harmonica. Alongside him are an array of Central Texas' finest musicians, and he is sometimes accompanied by his 14 year old son, Joshua, who is impressively proficient with percussion, saxophone, and backing vocals. Joshua has been performing with his father since the age of 8, and the two of them are at home together on stage.
A prolific songsmith, Jesse's musical journey includes 5 studio albums, starting with 2013's Driving Home, progressing through Broken Strings (2014), Where It All Began (2016), Traction (2018), and finally arriving at his latest release, 2021's Family & Friends, a story-telling compilation of the relationships we share with others while navigating the ever-changing waters of life. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming 6th album at Yellow Dog Studios in Wimberley, TX, set to release in early 2024.
Jesse has been playing music since the age of 10. He started with the saxophone, which eventually landed him a scholarship to college for music composition and music business, and has since become a multi-instrumentalist. Jesse strives to write meaningful songs, and to give audiences a genuine performance, pulling inspiration from bands such as Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Marshall Tucker Band, Robert Earl Keen, Turnpike Troubadours, Uncle Tupleo, and Whiskey Myers.
Jesse has been performing since 2013, and formed his band in 2014. He is proud to play all over the great state of Texas, and also tours throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest each summer. His unique sound fits the rolling landscape of the Texas Hill Country, where it originated, but resonates far beyond, earning fans from all walks of life.
